New Toggle Linkage for Upright and Triangular Omni-Rupters
S&C has implemented enhanced features for Omni-Rupter Switches in the upright and triangular mounting configuration. The rotating-type operating mechanism on these models has been updated to include an integral toggle linkage between the vertical operating pipe and the interphase operating pipe. This new linkage simplifies the initial installation of these switches, and minimizes the potential for misalignment of the operating pipe that may occur if the pole warps over time.
