Conway Corp. in Arkansas has implemented a new management and control system. The system will increase security and allow the utility to react more quickly to service outages.
With the installation of Telvent’s advanced Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, Conway Corp. receives reliable, real-time information from the field. Conway Corp. is upgrading its existing Telvent system to the Telvent OASyS Dynamic Network of Applications (DNA) to make faster operational decisions, increase customer satisfaction and cut costs.
Conway Corp. will experience a high level of security, as the Telvent solution has been tested and validated by the U.S. Department of Energy.
Conway Corp. operates the city-owned electric, water, wastewater, cable internet and cable television utility services for the citizens of Conway, Arkansas.
