Web-Based Wind Energy Assessment Tool
Southwest Windpower's Web-based wind energy assessment tool, Sitelook, was developed using wind energy forecasting models and an adaptation of SunWind Solutions' advanced software.
Sitelook uses site-specific wind data, historical energy usage, electricity rates and wind turbine variables to identify if a personal wind turbine is right for the user.
Since siting is such a critical step for personal turbine efficiency, the tool also allows Southwest Windpower dealers and customer service representatives the ability to access site data to provide users with knowledgeable guidance for their investment.
