Logicalis Wins IBM Systems Storage Solution Beacon Award
Logicalis was named winner of the Outstanding IBM Systems Storage Solution Beacon Award in the IBM Beacon 2011 Awards competition. This honor is awarded each year to a select number of IBM Business Partners to recognize information technology excellence, commitment to skills attainment, industry knowledge and innovative solutions based on IBM products and services.
The Beacon Awards are an important element of IBM’s Business Partner recognition program. Chosen from among hundreds of nominations by leading industry journalists, analysts and IBM executives, Beacon Award winners have set the standard for business excellence, innovative technology solutions, industry knowledge and client satisfaction.
“For Logicalis, winning an IBM Beacon Award is as prestigious as the Packers winning the Super Bowl. It speaks to our team’s ability to work together to be the best in the category for which we’ve been recognized,” says John Iffert, vice president, IBM Solutions for Logicalis.
The IBM Beacon Awards provide a wide range of industry recognition, increased visibility and promotional opportunities to award winners and finalists. This year’s awards recognized Business Partner achievements across 27 award categories.
The Outstanding Storage Solution award recognizes Logicalis’ achievement in deploying information infrastructures that help the company’s clients manage storage efficiency, protecting their valuable data while at the same time reducing administration and operational expenses. To be recognized by IBM as a Beacon Award winner, Logicalis demonstrated aptitude with both IBM storage hardware and software products, with a specific focus on XIV, ProtecTier and Storwize V7000. The winning solutions Logicalis developed are repeatable and demonstrate a strong collaborative approach between Logicalis and the IBM Storage sales and marketing teams.
