User Group Conference to Focus on Unified Communication Solutions for Substations
SUBNET Solutions Inc.'s annual SUBNET User Group Conference 2010 will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, October 24-28, 2010. Substation and power system advancements, technological innovation and the continued development of the North American power systems will be the focus of the conference.
SUBNET develops critical asset management, cyber security, data management and visualization tools for the electric utility industry that bridges the gap between substation devices and business intelligence systems. SUBNET will unveil the latest in their flagship products including SubSTATION Server, SubSTATION Explorer, PowerSYSTEM Server, and PowerSYSTEM Center. SUBNET is also offering training for SCADA and substation engineers and technicians on Oct. 24 and 25, 2010, in conjunction with the conference.
Utility, power transmission, smart grid and NERC CIP challenges will be explored through case studies, industry keynote addresses, and hands-on demonstrations. Technology implementation and efficiency strategies will focus on improving substation operations for increased reliability.
The SUBNET User Group Conference 2010 attracts substation engineers (electrical, systems, control, automation, SCADA and protection), distribution substation technicians, IT system architects, substation foremen, systems analysts and systems operations specialists as well as other utility personnel.
