Telvent and Open Access Technology International, Inc. have jointly announced the strategic integration of Telvent’s advanced data acquisition and distribution management smart grid solution suite with OATI’s webSmartEnergy solutions for smart grid and energy markets.

OATI provides energy trading and risk management, transmission scheduling, congestion management, compliance, smart grid, and settlement systems to the energy industry. OATI webTrader, webAgent (U.S. patent pending), webTrans, webSmartEnergy, webCompliance, and webTag product lines provide the tools for participation across energy markets to generation, trading, and transmission companies.
