San Diego Gas & Electric has gone live with implementations of Axia’s REVEAL Asset Investment Planning software solution. The new enterprise-class software solution encompasses several innovative modules providing investment decision support and long range planning.
Axia’s REVEAL is created for large corporations and provides a well-defined investment optimization process implemented uniformly across areas of their organization. With REVEAL supporting reliable and repeatable decision making, the utilities increase flexibility and enhance stakeholder understanding in asset investment decision making.
REVEAL can be deployed to work with existing asset management solutions. It uses a set of commonly defined organizational objectives and metrics to evaluate and compare investment projects, quickly simulate the risk and benefit analysis of various investment strategies and recommend an optimized capital plan for consideration. REVEAL enables utilities to make investment decisions that best support corporate objectives, maximizes risk mitigation based on available resources and provides real-time visibility on actual capital efficiency relative to plan. REVEAL is built on Microsoft Technologies including SQL Server.
