JEA Awards $15 Million Contract to DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations

JEA (Jackonsville, Florida, U.S.), the nation's eighth largest public power electric utility, has awarded a multi-year contract valued up to $15 million to DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations (Pineville, Louisiana, U.S.), a designer and manufacturer of factory-built, pre-engineered and custom-built substations.

JEA, which provides electric service to nearly 415,000 customers, has selected DIS-TRAN to design and supply high-voltage structures and equipment for substation and transmission projects.
