Kissimmee Utility Approves $320K Contracts for Substation Upgrades
The Kissimmee Utility Authority board of directors has approved two contracts totaling $320,400 to Black & Veatch for engineering services related to the upgrade of two electric substations in Kissimmee, Florida.
The contracts include detailed design and procurement services, field support services and as-built documentation for the utility’s Clay Street ($242,400) and Lake Cecile ($78,000) substations.
Founded in 1901, KUA (www.kua.com) is Florida's sixth largest community-owned utility providing electric and telecommunication services to 62,000 customers in five Central Florida counties
