The Seaward Group has introduced the ERT-S electrical safety checker from its Seaward Electronic, Ltd. division. Designed specifically for earth resistance measurements, the ERT-S is a state-of-the-art instrument powered by a microprocessor. The tool offers extended versatility with the capability of either two- or three-point method earth resistance measurement.
With an internal memory allowing the storage of up to 1000 test results and the ability to download to a conventional PC for storing and analyzing, the ERT-S is as user-friendly as it is efficient. The instrument comes equipped with all the necessary leads and test spikes for thorough soil-resistant measurement and is suitable for Earth Resistance Utility method measurement with the use of a special current clamp.
The ERT-S is compact and portable and offers a 3 ½ digit LCD. At a resolution of 1000 W in specific earth resistance, the instrument boasts a measuring range of 100K to 1999KW and a measuring frequency of 125 Hz ± 1 Hz.
