Arresters Come in High-Strength Porcelain Housing
Hubbell Power Systems has introduced Ohio Brass IEC Design H3, H4 and H5 arresters. The arresters feature high-strength porcelain housing with a long service history. Grey or brown porcelain is available.
The arresters offer a proven sealing system: Every arrester leak is tested with a Helium mass spectrometer. They have directional venting: the arc will be directed to the side of the arrester through the pressure relief vent.
The arresters are made with high-quality metal-oxide varistor (MOV) blocks, and designs for all IEC standard pollution levels are available. They have line discharge class 3, 4, & 5 designs for up to 800 kV rated systems.
