Our nationwide clients range from utilities to manufacturers of power equipment. We currently have immediate opportunities with our client located in the Chicago,IL area for contract/consulting Substation/Transmission/Distribution Project Engineers. There is a total of 5 Substation Project Engineers and 2 Underground Transmission Project Engineers openings. All of these opportunities will begin as a consulting engineering position, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

The Substation Project Engineering opportunities require a Bachelor's degree in either Civil or Electrical Engineering. The qualified candidates must have experience with designing substations of 128-345kv. They should have both strong electrical and civil engineering expertise with substations. They should be able to take a project from concept through to production. Demonstrated ability to design, procure and construct a substation required.

The Underground Transmission Project Engineer opportunities require a Bachelor's degree in either Civil or Electrical Engineering. The qualified candidate will have 5-6 years of project management with underground projects and high voltage transmission lines. Must have the ability to multi task and communicate well all levels of management. Knowledge of Microsoft Projects and Office Suites a plus.
