OSHA Alliance Program Offers Online Presentation on Trenching Safety

The WMOSHA is offering a free educational program on July 23 to raise awareness about trenching and evacuation hazards.
The Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) is focusing on trench and evacuation safety. To prevent cave-ins, workers should slope or bench trench walls, shore trench walls with supports or shield trench walls with trench boxes, according to OSHA.
