Hilti North America: Taking a Texas Tour

Dec. 21, 2018
Amy Fischbach and Dave Blaza from T&D World magazine visit Hilti's North American headquarters to learn about new technology for the line trade.

Due to the nature of their job, linemen demand the latest innovations in power tools. With more work to do in less time, they can't afford to have tools break down or repeatedly stop to charge a tool.

To serve the power trade, Hilti North America launched a line of battery-powered cutters and crimpers a few years ago, and the global company is planning to launch more new products for linemen in 2019.

About a week before Christmas, I traveled to Dallas, Texas, with David Blaza, Informa's managing director for Power to visit Hilti North America's corporate headquarters in Plano and Tool Service and Repair Center in nearby Irving . The following photo gallery is a virtual tour of the facilities in Texas.
