System Hardening: Penn Power Prepares for Winter Weather

Penn Power is improving system reliability and guarding against storm-related outages by investing in upgrades to its system.

Ice-coated tree limbs can fall on to power lines, causing power disruptions for utilities' customers. Penn Power, however, is taking a proactive approach to storm response through system hardening.
