Two years ago, the linemen who attended the 2019 Lineman's Rodeo Safety Conference watched a presentation by Dr. Richard Gasaway on situational awareness.
The motivational speaker is now offering free podcast episodes. To listen, linemen can subscribe to SAMattersRadio or subscribe to SAMattersTV on YouTube.
"The SAMatters mission remains simply to help you see the bad things coming... in time to prevent bad outcomes," Gasaway stated in an email to his subscribers.
Gasaway is actively booking programs for 2022 on how to improve situational awareness and high-risk decision-making. In addition to speaking to linemen, he also works with other first responders such as firefighters to provide training and education.
