Like most enterprises, many electric utilities organizations had to accelerate remote work in record time as a response to COVID-19. Many of the interim solutions that were deployed are not sustainable or secure for the long term and now new concerns are emerging as IT organizations plan for the future state of the remote utility worker. Enabling a remote workforce across the enterprise is required to attract and maintain new workers into the energy community. A secure, reliable remote worker strategy is essential for eliminating cyber-attacks, maintaining compliance standards, increasing productivity as well as customer satisfaction. Organizations that can adapt and evolve current remote environments to a safer, more permanent “work from anywhere” plan will come out stronger. As utilities prepare modernization plans to support the energy transition, now is the time to reassess remote work and create your ready-for-anything digital workplace– one that ensures seamless productivity from anywhere with an agile and secure infrastructure to enable it all.
Dell Technologies and Intel have been leaders in work-from-home technologies for years, developing a broad portfolio of products and solutions to empower remote workers and turn challenges of access and geography into opportunity. In this webinar, Dell Technologies and their industry partner Zones LLC, in partnership with Intel, will discuss how they have successfully collaborated to help their energy customers meet their workforce transformation needs, ensuring the proper definition, setup and delivery of the foundations for their remote worker initiatives. Dell Technologies will highlight their over-arching Intel powered hardware and software portfolio, zero trust security architecture and sample customer case studies of remote workforce solution delivery.
