LS Networks has purchased Commstructure Consulting, a technical consulting services company specializing in telecommunications outside plant (OSP) infrastructure design and project management.
The acquisition is a key part of LS Networks' strategy to expand its footprint in the market. As part of the deal, all Commstructure Consulting employees will join the LS Networks team, instantly expanding the breadth of capabilities while supporting new LS Networks installs across the Pacific Northwest.
“We are living in a time where broadband deployment, resources and supply chain impacts pose significant barriers to equal connectivity in rural communities,” said Randy Brogle, CEO, LS Networks. “Partnering with the team at Commstructure, LS Networks is positioned to meet this challenge and bring faster, high-quality fiber internet networks to our customers.”
“We are excited to partner with LS Networks, building on a longstanding relationship and commitment to quality,” said Erik Orton, president and co-owner of Commstructure Consulting. “Together, our services, teams and leadership will bring a bright, connected future for communities across the Pacific Northwest.”
“This partnership adds strength to the force with strategic engineering and design efforts as we step into the future serving clients better together,” said Barbara Orton, co-owner and CFO of Commstructure Consulting.
Fueled by a mission to bridge the digital divide throughout the Pacific Northwest, LS Networks has over 7,000 route miles of fiber that, over the last 16 years, has connected thousands to reliable, high-speed internet. Last month, the company announced its entry into the residential market with the planned acquisition of PocketiNet, a residential service provider throughout eastern Washington and Oregon. With the engineering expertise of Commstructure Consulting, LS Networks will accelerate the delivery of its fiber network to provide a fast, reliable connection across new and existing communities.
