The Trees & Utilities conference is accepting submissions online to speak on a number of diverse topics from Feb. 16 to April 6.
"The Trees and Utilities conference is the perfect opportunity for utility professionals to learn and share best practices in the industry," said Dan Lambe, CEO of the Arbor Day Foundation. "We are encouraging any speakers who want to share about topics that have influenced the work they do in the utility vegetation management and urban forestry industries."
The Trees and Utilities conference, hosted in tandem by the Utility Arborist Association and the Arbor Day Foundation, brings together utility vegetation managers and urban forestry professionals from around the country for a week of networking, knowledge sharing and educational learning opportunities. The conference organizers are looking to expand upon the variety of topics such as:
- Community Programs
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)
- Education and Professional Development
- Environmental Topics (Pollinators, Urban Forests, Water Resources and Reliable Energy)
- Research
- Recruitment and Workforce Retention
- Regulation Topics (Government Interaction, Rate Case and O&M)
- Safety
- Trends (Carbon Reduction, Supply Chain, COVID and Work Landscape)

The annual conference will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from Sept. 20 to 22 at the downtown conference center, the Wisconsin Center District.
