Operation Technology, Inc. (OTI), developer of the ETAP enterprise solution for electrical power systems, has announced that its U.S. ETAP Workshop 2010 schedule has expanded regionally due to increased demand for ETAP electrical analysis software training.

Workshop locations now include Atlanta and Philadelphia, in addition to Houston and Southern California.

Each year ETAP Workshops bring attendees to locations across the globe. These hands-on events provide the skills necessary to become proficient in conducting power system studies. The purpose of these workshops is to develop and enhance analytical techniques using ETAP.

"With the release of ETAP 7.0, technology for power system analysis has been significantly expanded,” said Shervin Shokooh, chief operating officer of OTI. "By attending ETAP Workshops, engineering firms can ensure their personnel have the most up-to-date skills required for power system analysis.”

All attendees who successfully complete ETAP Workshops in the United States may request Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The CEUs are administered by IEEE, and may be used to fulfill state or other requirements for continuing professional development. As part of the IEEE Education Partners program, ETAP Workshops in the U.S. are offered to more than 375,000 IEEE members at a 10% discount off regular registration fees.
