Available at knovinium.com, the online learning portal features a newly launched course based on the IEEE P1816 “Guide for Preparation Techniques of Extruded Dielectric, Shielded Cable Rated 2.5 kV through 46 kV and the Installation of Mating Accessories” drafted by the Insulated Conductor Committee.
The interactive course includes numerous craftsmanship video clips to deliver intuitive “real world” instruction in a rich media format. By implementing the craftsmanship best practices taught in the course, utilities can dramatically reduce cable failures and improve system reliability.
