Developing Risk Assessment Standards and Specifications for a Distribution System

This article examines one way that recent and authoritative tree risk assessment standards and best
management practices can be systematically incorporated into utility arboriculture. The development
of a tree risk assessment specification document for a particular utility provided us with an opportunity
to bring together new research-based procedures and existing management systems. The result
