The new EVS-NDCUTJAW was primarily developed for storm-duty applications where service entrance overhead power restoration is critical. These conditions are typically not ideal, and lineworkers no longer need access to multiple tools to get the job done and power restored.
The new jaw can cut the conductor with the blades at the top, then make the crimp on a splice or lug with the D3 nest and appropriate die set with a single 6T tool and this new multi-functional jaw.
