2021 Lineman's Rodeo: Safety Conference Highlights

Oct. 15, 2021
The Lineman's Rodeo Week kicked off with a half-day safety conference followed by the start of the Lineman's Expo.

Line students, apprentice and journeymen linemen and field supervisors devoted the morning of Oct. 14 to focus on safe work practices. As part of its annual tradition, the International Lineman's Rodeo Association organized a free conference for the attendees.

The half-day event, which was sponsored by IBEW Local 47, 66 and 304 and Burns and McDonnell and Safeguard, featured presentations by two speakers: Carl Potter, founder of the Safety Institute, and Zachary and Mylinda Spicer, who shared their personal injury story.
