Andreas Schuster
Dr. Andreas Schuster ([email protected]) studied electrical engineering in Energy Engineering at Vienna University of Technology. He finished his MS degree in 2008. He worked for five years as a project assistant at the Institute of Energy Systems and Electrical Drives in the working area of electric mobility, smart grids and energy storage. During this period, he completed his doctorate degree with a thesis titled “Charging Infrastructure and Distribution Grid Loads Due to Electric Vehicles.” Since March 2014, he has been head of research at Aspern Smart City Research GmbH & Co. KG, a joint venture between mainly Siemens AG, Wien Energie (energy supplier) and Wiener Netze (utility).
