Collegiate Program: Professional Gains and Opportunities with Volunteering Engagement

This collegiate panel aims to expound on the professional and leadership gains with PES volunteering activity.
Offering an exciting and comprehensive schedule of student and young professional sessions and activities, the Collegiate Program at the 2022 IEEE PES T&D Conference is designed to help new talent launch successful careers in the power and energy industry. The Poster Session and Reception provides a relaxed environment for registered conference attendees to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages while viewing hundreds of accepted papers in poster format.
The Professional Gains and Opportunities with Volunteering Engagement panel aims to expound on the professional and leadership gains with PES volunteering activity. The session will follow a round table structure with world-named PES leaders, who will be sharing the gains that students and young professionals can have by getting engaged with PES volunteering. The panelists will share their trajectories and points of view about how the volunteering engagement helped them achieve their current career success. The panel is mostly dedicated to students who aim to lighten their careers by engaging with the IEEE and PES. By this session, the attendees will learn how to derive benefits from IEEE and PES memberships to step up their opportunities in professional life and achieve career success. There will be space for questions and interaction with the panelists.
