Asplundh Tree Expert Co. and its subsidiary Utilicon Solutions, Ltd. have completed a stock acquisition of American Electrical Testing Co., Inc. (AETCO), based in Canton, Massachusetts. In business for more than 30 years, AETCO’s services include acceptance testing, commissioning and start-up services, engineering services, preventive and predictive maintenance programs and infrared surveys.
UtiliCon expands the scope of services it offers to its extensive customer base, while AETCO receives the organizational and financial support required to continue its growth.
Both AETCO President/CEO Charlie Blizard, Jr. and Vice President of Field Operations Scott Blizard remain in their current positions and will report to UtiliCon Solutions Vice President Greg Holman. Charlie Blizard commented, “We are eager to grow and move forward, with support from UtiliCon and Asplundh, while we continue to provide great service to our current customers in the electrical power industry.”
