They will also answer questions from the audience and provide advice on how to get involved with the PES Workforce Initiative.
Young Professionals Panel Session
Wednesday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The IEEE Young Professionals Panel is a one-hour session that features four panelists who are young professionals working in different sectors of engineering. The panelists will share their career paths, challenges, opportunities, and advice for aspiring engineers. The session will also include a Q&A segment where the audience can ask questions and interact with the panelists. The panel session aims to provide a platform for IEEE members and non-members to network with each other and learn from the perspectives of young professionals in the engineering field.
Student Tour of SCE’s Fenwick Labs
Thursday, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The Southern California Edison’s Fenwick Labs is a state-of-the-art facility that conducts research and development on various aspects of energy generation, transmission, distribution, and usage. The student tour of the SCE’s Fenwick Labs will give participants a chance to see some of the cutting-edge projects and experiments that are being conducted at the lab, as well as learn about the careers and opportunities in the energy industry.
